Leave-in-place joint systems

In 1983, Permaban introduced the concrete screed rail into the flooring market which became recognised as the simplest and most economic Leave-in-Place joint systems for constructing concrete floor slabs and uniquely successful in the construction of ‘Superflat' floors. Several advances have been made in the design of these rails and Permaban lead the industry in joint system development.

AlphaJoint is used for heavy-duty application on jointed and jointless, steel fiber or mesh reinforced ground bearing slabs or bar reinforces suspended floor slabs on piles. At 30 mm joint opening, 45 mm of the dowel remains embedded in concrete on the free movement side so larger joint openings may be accommodated.
